ABOUT THE ARTISTIC TEAM...

Tina Lindle
Owner/Executive Artistic Director
Tina has studied dance for over 20 years and has 24 years of teaching experience. She is a certified dance teacher and member of Dance Masters of America. She has studied with and taught for several studios in the Quad Cities. She danced with the Cassandra Manning Ballet Theater for 3 years. Before that she created and choreographed for the Silver Shakers Dance Team at North Scott. As a young dancer and twirler Tina won numerous awards and titles, and today her students are winning top honors and scholarships in dance. For eight years Tina’s Dance Studio was named “Top Studio” at the Kids Artistic Review Regional Competition as well as being recognized as a top choreographer. The studio has also been recognized with special awards for demonstrating the best sportsmanship at various competitions. Over the years she has done choreography & volunteering for area churches, school musicals, Countyside Community Theater, Miss Valley Fair Pageant, Miss Scott County Pageant, and the Cinemas. She was a guest teacher at 6 local elementary schools, Eldridge Preschool and the Friendly House in Davenport as well as St. Louis, MO & Des Moines. Recently she has been on the judging panel for Miss Valley Fair, North Dance Team, Bill Riley Talent Contest and in demand across the country judging for Rainbow Connection National Dance Competition. Miss Tina’s dance companies have been selected to perform at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, Carnival Cruise Line, New York City and Los Angeles CA. The Diva Dance Co. was featured on Paula Sands Live in 2004. Tina, herself, was featured on KWQC TV 6 News in 1999 for her success as a dance teacher and business owner in a small town. Tina is proud to know that some of her students have gone on to professional careers in dance. She was recently honored twice by being nominated as one of the nation’s most respected teachers with the “WHO’S WHO AMONG AMERICA’S TEACHERS”. She received an associate degree in Liberal Arts in 1996, which is the same year she graduated from the Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School at Kent State University in Ohio. She is the founder of Sharing The Art Scholarship Program & the all new Quad City Dance Network. She continues her research of dance education by attending conventions and seminars and oversees the entire program and curriculum at TDS with her incredible staff!
Crystal Winston
Assistant Artistic Director
Crystal grew up dancing in the Quad Cities. She has years of competition and performance experience. In 1997 she toured the East Coast as a “Caravan Kid” with Hoctor’s Dance Caravan. In 1999 she attended the intensive dance program at STEPS on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in NYC. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and an Entrepreneur Certificate in Business. While at the U of I Crystal performed in various works by undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members, including the annual Dance Gala. For the past 16 years she has taught all levels of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, Pilates, tumbling and creative movement. She has taught at various dance schools across the state of Iowa including the University of Iowa Dance Forum. Crystal is a ZUMBA instructor as well as a Stott Pilates Certified instructor specializing in apparatus training and in 2007 became a certified Post-Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist. Crystal continues her dance education by attending workshops and training classes yearly. In addition to teaching, she has also choreographed and judged for local dance teams, dance companies and community theaters. Crystal's dancers have won many top awards and scholarships at competitions and workshops. She has been recognized across the nation for her innovative choreography and teaching skills including top choreography awards. She has enjoyed experiencing new places with the dance company including Disney World, Los Angeles and a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. This is Crystal’s seventh year on our faculty. She lives in Davenport with her husband, Joe and yorkie, Layla.
Nia Groves
has trained in tap, ballet, and jazz for 10 years in the Quad Cities. She competed and danced with a senior dance company while she was in high school. For 14 years she has taught and trained at Tina's Dance Studio. Nia was a Silver Shaker at North Scott High School for 3 years. In 1999 she assisted the coach with the Silver Shakers Dance Team, and she was the head coach for two years. Several of Nia’s students have won high score awards in competition in the last eight years. She attends workshop classes and seminars to continue her education in dance. She is very busy these days attending Western Illinois University and she is the new mom to a beautiful baby boy named Keegan! She has grown to become an excellent choreographer and loves kids!
Michelle Kabel
has been on our staff for 8 years. She has trained in dance for over 20 years and she has 9 years of teaching experience. In college she was a member of the Orchesis Dance Company for four years. She was also an instructor for the Young People’s Theater group. As a student she was rewarded and recognized for the Karen Webb Ballet Award. Michelle attends dance workshops & seminars to further her training. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in marketing with an emphasis in management. She is currently employed at the Rock Island Arsenal and loves teaching! Aside from dance her other passion is spending time with her husband Nate and daughter Natalynn.
Nicole Picolet
has trained in dance for over 10 years, and has 8 years of teaching experience. She is an experienced dance competitor and was recognized for several top scoring routines. Nikki received dance scholarships through Applause Talent Presentations and Hollywood Vibe as well. She was on dance team for 4 years at North High School and has a unique ability to choreograph hip hop and jazz routines. Her students have been recognized with top awards and high honors. Miss Nikki has also assisted with the Diva Dance Co. and is known for her funk & hip hop choreography. She is a newly wed and resides with her husband Jason, daughter Ava and newborn son Beckum in Davenport.

Becky Schabilion
has 34 years of coaching experience with area gymnasts & dancers. This is her 5th year on our staff. She competed in high school with local gymnastic teams. She is the founder & director of the Mississippi Valley Fair Talent Show for the past 26 years. Becky has trained at several different seminars and has been a foster parent to 35 different children. She is currently employed by the Rock Island Arsenal and she has a unique ability to train young tumblers!
Shelby Boock
has over 15 years of training at TDS! She is not currently on teaching staff but we are thrilled to have her expertise helping with the dance companies. She was a member of the dance team through high school and competed with the Diva Dance Co. earning numerous scholarships & top score awards. She was selected for and attended the Rockette Summer Intensive in NYC and assisted L.A. choreographers with workshops in Chicago. She is a resent graduate from St. Ambrose University where she was a member of the Dance Team.

Patty Saldivar
has over 14 years of teaching experience in the dance & tumbling field. She was a Goldduster at Bettendorf High School as well as a cheerleader. In her youth, she was a competitive dancer & gymnast and was recognized with numerous awards & scholarships. Patty studied intensively while on scholarship at Steps on Broadway in NYC and Louisberg College in North Carolina. She has held many coaching and teaching positions including coaching the North High Dance Team and teaching at Moline Gymnastics Academy. Patty recently finished her Associates Degree in Nursing Science. And is employed at Gastrointerology Consultants of Moline.
Lindsey Boock
has 16 years of dance training and several years of student helping and teaching at TDS. She was accepted to the prestigious Oklahoma City University Dance Program but had to return home on a medical leave of absence. She is currently attending St. Ambrose University. She was on the Silver Shaker Dance Team and a member of the Diva Dance Co. where she was recognized with numerous top score awards & scholarships. She has attended master classes & performed all over the country as well as assisting L.A. Choreographers. She recently returned from Florida, where she spent a summer semester as a Disney Intern. We look forward to her assisting with the Diva and Dream Dance Companies again this season.
Carlee Haigh
is a recent high school graduate from North Scott High School and is attending Scott Community College. She has 9 years of training at TDS and was captain of the NS Silver Shaker Dance Team. She had a successful year in competing recently and is thrilled to work with young students at her "home away from home"! Miss Carlee has been recognized numerous times with top honors and awards. She is assisting with the Diva Dance Company and has experience with choreography and top notch dance education!
